It's never quiet here, not with all these cats charging around, birds singing and deer barking at each other in the forest. During the day when I'm doing house or yard work I just listen to the natural sounds and chatter to the cats for company.

I don't have a TV but sometimes listen to music while I'm studying. I put my headset on so as not to disturb the beasts.

When I'm working I'm supposed to be listening to my students so I can't have music on then.

It depends on what I am doing, or what I feel like. It's usually pretty quiet around here w/ it just being Angel & I, so usually the t.v. is on. Usually on HGTV, or like now, Saturday morning, watching Too cute on Animal planet while I check email sitting on the couch.  If I am in the kitchen, or sometimes when cleaning, I will put music on. Either the radio, or maybe pandora radio. I made an oldies station I tend to listen to a lot w/ stuff like Hall & Oats, Michael McDonald, Steely Dan, Journey, Al Green, etc... Fun to sing to. 

  I also love my Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake station too!
