In December 2005 we adopted two wonderful kitties, Swanie and Cynthia, and as a new cat mom I found myself needing advice. Both of these awesome babies have passed, and I miss them dearly.

August 28, 2009, not too long after our Queen B (Banshee) passed away. Lurked for quite a while before posting as I recall.

Wow, it's been almost 10 years! March 17, 2013. We'd taken in four elder cats when a friend died of cancer. We already had three and I found myself a bit overwhelmed with seven kitties so I started searching online for advice with various health, behavior, and introduction questions. I found TCS and the rest, as they say, is history.

March 10, 2018, which was about a month after I adopted Remy and Maisie. I came here to get help with getting Maisie to feel comfortable with me and I ended up staying even after I got the advice I needed.

August 6, 2018. We had 5 former ferals we had adopted at the time, and I was looking for information to see if we were doing it right, using the new tablet that Michele had previously given me, when I came across TCS. I didn't join right off, but came back a few days later and took the plunge.

Nov 25, 2013, which was 12 days after I brought Ruby home from the shelter.

As a new cat mom, I googled cat sites as I wanted a place to talk about cats.

Interestingly, the first site I found was not TCS (don't remember what it was), and though I signed up, it was taking too long to "accept" me, so I went back to google, to find somewhere else.

The 2nd cat site I found was TCS. I signed up, was immediately a member, posted my "hello" in the New Cats on the Block forum, and I've been coming here daily ever since.

December 11, 2015. I had just gotten Mingo and was looking for information on stand-offish cats. Mingo was a little bit feral, although the shelter said he was well socialized. It wasn't until I got Lily a year later that he really opened up. She was very affectionate, and he relaxed.

We hadn’t had Mooch & Noodles long and I joined when Mooch had the runs from switching her food too fast and left a pretty smear down DH’s white undershirt when he picked her up for a snuggle.
