The last time I went was 2014 to watch Godzilla with my then 21 year old son. We had watched all the old films when he was a kid together so I thought it was lovely he asked me to go with him. I normally just wait for sky to show films.
Regular is closer to $10-14, I think. If you do 3d, imax, 4d or something special like that it can be over $20. Plus, if you get popcorn and a drink it adds minimum $15.I haven't been to the movies since regular price was $5 and matinee was $2.50. That was a fair price. What is the price now?
You deserve as much as anybody else!I think it was some Star Wars movie or another that somebody else wanted to see and they needed me to drive them or something. I honestly don't remember. I guess I'm a bit of a snob that way.
I don't go to the movies enough because I think of entertainment as something "optional" that I can't afford or don't deserve. I don't absorb information very well in video format either. I get much more pleasure out of reading a book, even though that is not the same as going somewhere to have a shared experience with a group of people.
The story isn't always the same either. Sometimes I say things that are (perceived to be) incredibly stupid when I am talking about the book and everybody else is talking about the movie.
The last time I went they did a bag search and had us empty our pockets, and said that if we got caught with non-theater food we'd be kicked out without a refund. Pfft. Like I'm going to pay money to be treated like that.you can always sneak in fresh fruit or something healthful.
One of my daughters saw it and loved it. I hope you enjoy it too!I'm going to see Little Women in the theatres tomorrow,
