The most I've had, and currently have, is two when my husband and I combined households.

Lelia is about 2.5 and mine. She was adopted from a TNR.

Sparkle came with my husband. He thinks she's about 10, but doesn't keep good track of these things. She came to his door as a kitten.

Toffee and Fudge are my first and current cats. They are orange tabbies and are both 2 and a half (but Fudge acts more like a 12.5 year old!) They were semi-feral rescues (now socialised) from a cat colony. My mother had two cats as a child, but I'm a first time cat owner.

I love seeing all the sweethearts here. My family had kitties when I was born. One of my earliest memories is of being under our kitchen table with our cat Paw-Paw. We also had Siamese at the time. Most of my life I had one or two kitties. They all stole my heart and I miss each one that I lost. At the height of doing feral rescues and socializing I had about 44 cats. Pouring time into each one meant I thoroughly bonded with each one and although knowing they were going to great, loving homes was a good thing, I mourned each one when they left and miss them still. It never gets easier. I have a happy cat family now of previous residents mixed with the kitties that have not been adopted out and have joined our family. Here are a few.
