I have a few tattoos. My first is a dolphin top of my arm. Then I got a black cat to cover up a name, I was young and stupid. Then I got the cat reworked because it faded really fast. Then I got patches on my other shoulder because the black cat looked like bandit.;) I have tattoos on both calves of the Egyptian goddesses sekhmet and bastet. I'm halfway through getting a full sleeve/cover another one I got year's ago. My latest tattoo was actually done today it's a zebra for EDS awareness my daughter has a matching one done today aswell. Here's a picture of today's tat.

Where my cats are
I do not have any. I'm not opposed to them; but I don't know where I want to put it.

My DS has this little doodle he used to make of his stuffed raccoon that went everywhere with him for ages (and is still nearby when we are at home) and he always brings me dandelions for the kitchen window. So I want his raccoon holding some a few dandelions.

DD used to doodle little butterflies with spirals on each wing. So I'd do a little one of that too. One for each kid. I also like the idea of having Mooch's paw print tattooed on me. But I don't know WHERE to put them. Like I want to see them because they mean something. But I don't always want to have them showing necessarily. So I'll wait till I figure it out.

No; I never got drunk enough to get one. Michele, on the other hand, has a small butterfly perched on a rose on her right forearm.

I have thought about it off and on for many years but never got one. I wouldn't want anything huge and flashy, just something like a small flower. To be honest I am a little leery of getting anything done with needles outside of a medical setting. I did get my ears pierced when I was in high school but dangerous things don't register with teenagers and my parents were of the generation where blood born diseases weren't thought about.

I don't have any. I had thought about getting one over the years but thankful I didn't get them...thinking back, I would probably no longer like them now. I do continue to have a tattoo in mind to get, but what is in my head, I don't think would translate very well unless I hired someone who would probably cost me a fortune....I don't even know if what I want is possible and I'm way too chicken to take a chance on a permanent screw up...aaand I hate needles...so there's that.

I have one tattoo. I plan on getting a second one with my sister but we haven't nailed down a design. Mine has a lot of meaning though. The cat is my late cat Willie who was my soul mate cat. The globe is because I have my master's in GIS (basically modern day cartography) and it features Scandinavia because of my ancestry and I really want to go there. I'm a writer, hence the typewriter and Stand up, Keep fighting, is my life motto (originally attributed to the late Paul Wellstone, a Minnesota senator) and how I approach dealing with mental illness.

No, I don't have a tattoo but DH does and he would like another. He was supposed to go together with a friend that's a fireman but his friend chickened out so he went alone. He never regretted it either. I've thought about what I would get if I had a tattoo and it would most likely be our last dog and our present cat, Carleton.

I don't have one. I don't think I ever will, but, if I ever changed my mind I have an idea as to what I would want. But then again who wants to see my 40 year old ankle with a fresh tattoo on it?

I have a small goldfish on my belly, a daisy chain anklet and a huge tattoo of Japanese coy carp that stretches all the way down my back from my shoulder to my butt.

If you've never had a tattoo and your thinking of getting one don't get drunk first! The alcohol thins your blood and also increases your blood pressure, which means you will bleed a lot more while being tattooed.

I detest tattoos. Plus I made a promise to a man 40 yrs. ago who I highly respect that I would never get such a thing. As he had several as a young man in the military and truly regretted.

I have two; one the signature of an historical figure who means a lot to me, the other a drawing of mine. The first is fine, the second was a dud because the tattooist thought it would look better if he shaded it, and it didn't. Twenty years on it's even worse, and I'm glad nobody sees it.

i think a pink calla lily would be nice but there is a chance that my pain levels would increase
and i don' want to take that chance.
