I don't understand why the woman refuses to believe that I have an orange female cat. So I thought I'd come here and ask some experienced breeders about the situation. Perhaps you folks can explain this to me.
Thank you kindly,
Jennifer

Tabby refers to the markings of a cat, there are four types of tabby: Classic (swirls), Mackerel (stripes), Spotted, and Ticked or Agouti. Breeders do not use the term "tiger." Tabbies can be any number of colors including Brown, Red, Silver, ect.Originally Posted by Jen
Hey I was wondering isn't a Tabby cat the grey, black and whitish striped cats and Tiger the orange striped kind? Or does Tabby refer to both?
Just curious...That's what I always thought...
Ahhh I see, thanks for clearing that upOriginally Posted by RugbyKid

I'm willing to bet if you said you had a male calico this lady would say that was impossible, either that or you should sell it to a breeder for lots of money!
