So five weeks ago we found a stray in our backyard and we took her in. The next day, while getting her ready to go to the vet to be scanned for a microchip, I noticed that she was pregnant.
She tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and the vet said she was healthy. And she is, and Monday morning she gave birth to six beautiful healthy kittens without any problems.
My husband took this pic of the kittens this morning, and when I looked at it I noticed a little patch on the calico's face with little bumps.
We already have a vet appointment Thursday evening, because the vet wanted us to bring everyone in a few days after they were born. Still though, I am really worried, and my google-fu isn't turning up much help.
It's just...we really love cats, and we're trying to take the best care of them that we can, and Pixel (the mother) put her faith and trust in us, and I am really worried and scared.
