I LOVE it when my cats sleep next to me -- they are just a year old now

emma's purring bothered me a lot of first, cuz she likes to sleep right next to my head. eventually though i just got used to it and fell asleep. so give it a try - you might not fall asleep at first but you'll get used to it soon ...

it's a really special thing to have your cat purring next to you while you sleep

few other animals can show affection in such a way!

Bijou has a loud purr also, but he only purrs while I pay attention to him. As soon as I settle for sleep and stop stroking him he stops purring and settles down to sleep himself.
