puke and diarrhea

hello, my cat has been puking and has bad diarrhea. he never pukes and always makes it to the litter box. he hid under my bed and when i went to pick him up he screamed (assuming he stomach is tender i felt horrible) can someone please tell me when to go to the emergency room?

i will call in the morning for an appointment. recently this week started eating creamy flakes fancy feast. he usually doesn’t get the seafood lately and idk if that’s the only issue. he sometimes has fecal accidents but mostly in times of stress (a move or a car ride) i don’t want to cause him stress by bringing him into the vet if i don’t need to.

How long has this been, is it only today. The fact that he was in obvious pain when you tried to pick him up would suggest he needs to see a vet.

chomchom17 , did you get him in to see either the ER Vet or your regular Vet? What was the issue?
