Probiotics

Hello,

I'm finding mixed information online about probiotics for cats. Janie just recently had 2 weeks antibiotics for a urinary tract infection. I had some expired Fortiflora but that would be pointless being the probiotics would no longer be alive. Plus there is an appetite stimulate in it (brewer's yeast) I bought probiotics from GNC for cats but it contains the brewer's yeast also...so her appetite has increased.

I just want the probiotic without the brewer's yeast. I'm wondering if the human probiotics I take would be useful for her? They contain lots of different probiotics.

The only thing that I do know about probiotics is that you need to be able to determine proper dosage for a cat if you are using a human probiotic. But, I think that is covered in one of the links LTS3 provided.
