Well, my cat Spooky is large and should be having her kittens sometime soon. She's had around 3 (Or 4!
) litters before. (I'm too young to drive or get a job, so I can't spay her myself) I really, really, really, really wish this is her last litter, and I will make sure it is. After they kittens are weaned, I'll push my mom to make an appointment for her. (We have four cats to be taken in to get fixed on Saturday!
) So, we've had many kittens before because she's had several litters along with some other of my cats. But everytime Spooky is about to have her babies, she starts going around and meowing and such, and she doesn't stay in one spot. I think she wants Eepy with her (They are sisters) since they have had babies together before. But sometimes Eepy doesn't want to stay there and she keep getting up from where she will be having her babies. What can we do for her? And do mom cats sometimes lay on their babies? I always worry she'll lay on them and kill them, and I also worry that the babies won't find milk if there are too many. Sometimes they fight over milk when there is an availible place for them. I want them all to get enough. Should I just trust them to get milk? And what about when they are fighting over a spot and they claw at each other? Should I seperate them or just let them be?
Thanks in advance! I want sweet and healthy babies!
