My cat is pregnant wirh a due date around August 8th or so. This is her second pregnancy, her 1st pregnancy had just one kitten, and she delivered that one at 75 days. She looks like the same as last time so maybe she will have only one this time as well
Wow, that was a late delivery! ARE you SURE? Full count of days, witnessed mating? Went everything OK?
The probability is quite high, she comes from a maternal line who delivers quite late, so the probability high this delivery will also be later than the average...
I had written down on the calendar the only day she escaped from the house, and was worried it took so long, but she had a quick delivery and was a great mom to the one kitten, this time she managed to squeeze through a window that was open like 2 inches to get outside... So the pregnancy was not on purpose. I'll post pics of her previous kitten
My cat is now at 69 days, so it looks like it may be like her last pregnancy with 1 kitten at 75 days. She is eating very good and is very happy. I will eventually get her spayed, but with such small litters I'm going to prolong it, I had about 30 people interested in my last kitten, but ended up giving it to my mom
It's very important that you get your cat spayed for her health. Getting pregnant again and again is really hard on a cat. Each time she goes out and gets pregnant by a random cat she is at risk for contracting FIV or other illnesses not covered by her shots. Even if there are people around you who want kittens there are plenty of kittens dying in shelters who need homes too! Please spay her after this litter.

My cat is now at day 71 as has stopped eating today so kitten(s) will be soon. She is lying around on her side and constantly changing positions. The last pregnancy she actually went into heat a few days before giving birth and my other make but nuetered cat was trying to mate with her ... I separated them at that point with the male cat on the first floor and pregnant cat on the second floor.
I'm posting here so other people in the situation can know my experience ... As everything my cat did was not written anywhere on the Internet ... Especially her pregnancy that lasted 75 days and only 1 kitten ...
Cats do not go into heat during pregnancy. If a male wanted to mate with her it was due to pregnancy hormones, not a heat cycle. Continue to keep all other cats away from her as she is due to give birth soon.
Do you plan to get her spayed this time and keep male cats away from her?
My male cat is nuetered ... But still will do the deed. Yes she was in heat at the very end of her pregnancy and after having the kitten she still was for a week or so ... It was very odd. She has her cycle maybe twice a year only.
