My pregnant kitty, Cleo, has been very hyper today, running around the house, climbing curtains and fly screens, lumping everywhere and chasing everything tthat moves, even my feet.
I this normal and is it alright for her to be so active during her pregnancy?

Depends on the cat. My Abyssinian females remain active until up to a few days just before birth.

At first I thought she was acting this way because Pineapple (She just had her leg amputated) was getting more attention than her. But I snuggled with her on the couch before and she is still acting up.

Just had a thought, would she be more active/acting odd/more alert because of kitten movement inside her? Ive just seen my first movement not ten mintues ago and it made me wonder if it could be agitating her and she is being active to keep the still inside her.

IMO I'd not be letting a pregnant cat close to delivery be running and jumping and climbing. If she falls, she or the babies could get hurt. Its better to keep them confined to one room or a large crate/cage if she is that close to delivery.
