so I’ve been fostering a pregnant mom cat and yesterday she was pacing, meowing, rubbing up on everything. Last night around 9 ET she started to have visible contractions and a little bit of discharge. The contractions continued all night and at one point they were only about 4 second apart. She’s very affectionate and letting me pet her belly I stayed up with her all night and just about an hour ago her contractions stopped. Is this normal? Also, I don’t see any milk discharge from her nipples. Is it always present when labor begins?

Before labor there should be some vaginal discharge. Has it happened? Do you know how long ago tha pregnancy started?

we don’t know exactly when she got pregnant but we were told she is due sometime this week. Yes there was some discharge, couple drops of thick whitish clear fluid
