Pregnant Cat Doing Weird Things

Hello, my cat clara is a 7 month old pregnant cat and shes been sucking on one of my blankets for around 25 mins.. is this signs of something or is it nothing to worry about

Or using the blanket as a pacifier. My cat has a binky. Many cats do. My cat was abandoned by his mother at a few days of age. She is a feral living in a colony of feral's that live on a large homestead and the people are spay/neutering all they can catch but this queen can't be caught and abandons 2-3 litters a year so a local cat rescue has been raising her kittens for a few years now. I've had the privilege of working for that rescue and raised some of my cat's siblings.

Can you keep her 100% inside and away from intact males until she is spayed? Mom can get pregnant within a week of delivery, even without going into heat.
