Our foster kitty is 68/69 days pregnant and hasn’t really been showing any signs of going into labour. She has had a very small amount of bloody discharge which seems to be watered down a bit and has only been a few drops. Is this normal as I’ve read on some sites a small amount is okay and on others it’s not? She has been looking a bit more today for a nesting spot but is still eating fine and otherwise acting normal. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

This sounds like normal pre-labor discharge. She should have the kittens soon. If she appears in distress, get her to a vet ASAP. Keep us posted!

She has given birth to a beautiful grey kitty 5 hours ago. I think she may have more on the way but is delaying her labour.
Is it calm and not stressing around? Cats can in some degree purposefully delay the labor if need be...

Otherwise, pauses are not uncommon. If she is OK, no visible troubles, you do observe but can wait and see.
If she eats anything, be sure she get calcium rich food / fluid. Whatever you have at hand and she likes.

Because low lewel of calcium can cause weak labor.

We spoke to our vet today and there are no more kittens on the way she just happened to have the one. Kitten and mum are doing well. She seems very happy and comfortable.
