I do a combo of dry, wet, and raw for Mango. I'm slowly trying to cut out all kibbles though. Eventually, I'd like to feed him a completely raw diet.
For me, because I have just the one cat, I save myself a lot of work by buying pre-packaged raw rather than grind and make my own. I did look at CatNutrition.org and at the ingredients they use.
I compared it to the ingredients list of the pre-packaged I've been feeding and although MOST of the ingredients are the same, some of them differ. For example, Cat Nutrition suggests using a B-complex supplement while the pre-packaged doesn't contain it. Cat Nutrition recipes contain eggs while this pre-packaged doesn't.
I did ask the store and the company and they said their diets are already balanced. Can anyone verify this for me? I feed Natural Instincts and Basic Instincts.
(Basic Instincts seem to contain eggs and B-complex, but Natural Instincts does not. However, ingredients still vary.)
Thanks!
