I've known several women who were diagnosed with breast cancer at very early ages. One is a diabetic who was also pregnant at the time. Both she and her baby are doing just great - and it's 14 years later now.

I will definitely keep your friend in my prayers...MY MIL at the age of 28 went to the Dr after her 6 week check up after having my SIL and they found a lump and they removed her breast and she's never had any problems since and she's in her 70's now. But she most likely had it while she was pregnant because the baby was only 6 weeks old when they found out.

Wow - but at least they found it! I will definately keep her in my prayers. This should be a time of joy for her, but unfortunately she has to deal with this.

She will be induced to have her baby next week, and then they will put her on chemo...after that it will be a double mastectomy

Aww...I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers Nat. How awful..I feel so bad for them!
