He is so pretty. I hope he gets well soon.
I have seen one of the wild tomcats get into a terrible fight and have big gaping wounds and recover just fine without human help. Hopefully Simba is strong like that too.

I'll be thinking of/praying for your beautiful Simba too. I've also heard that about the maggots--it sounds gross and awful but the doctors say that maggots actually DO help with the healing process. And it's so sweet the way Simba responded to you--he was saying "There's my mom!" It sounds like he's a real fighter and that he's getting excellent medical care--we are ALL hoping for a quick and total recovery for your baby! God bless!

ALL of you are just GREAT! I'm hoping that Simba gets to come home tomorrow for the weekend. *sigh* I won't know until tomorrow morning. He has to eat before they'll send him home. He's drinking good though.
