Hello everyone,
I am looking for some insight into my cats health. She is a one year old burmese who was born with a potassium deficiency which we've been managing with supplements... but the strength of the potassium weakened her teeth and she's had a bunch taken out.
For a while (before the teeth were taking out), she has stuck her tongue out kinda lapping at the air or licking the sides of her chin. Recently she's been limping around a bit as if something is wrong with her back legs... sometimes it seems to be moreso one than the other, but other times it is more like a bunny hop. We took her to the vet and they said she just had a limp, perhaps shed fallen on it... but it seems to come and go and she doesnt seem to have mobility problems.
Does anyone have any idea whats going on with her or any tips for managing a potassium deficient kitty?
Thank you
