well, i was wrong - we had about a 10 minute thunderstorm about 20 minutes ago. lightning, thunder, HARD rain - over with in minutes. typical! temp now 68 degrees fahrenheit, 16 mph winds - 40% chance of rain. isn't it nice they changed the forecast to match the weather? look:

Scattered thunderstorms will move rapidly northeast across areas mainly east of Interstate 35 through 1130 AM. Some areas will experience brief...heavy rainfall...1/2 inch diameter hail...and a few lightning strikes. Less than a tenth of rainfall will fall with the fast moving storms.

That is true,. Here it gets hot but the humidity is nothing.
