Here we call it "hibou" which means owl.
The boys don't hibou a lot. But my late cat Lily did. Here's a couple of the few photos where I'm not also in the photo. One of Nobel too.

My beloved Sybil, who literally flew through the snow being a snow goddess 
I remember she was so excited and happy so I don't know if these qualify as aeroplane ears since they usually look aggravated when they do that, lol.
