Mine lie where ever they feel like and shed all over the place. It does not seem to matter who or where and with 2 blacks, one silver/grey and one multi-color (seal point) there is cat hair everywhere. A friend has a sign outside that says: no outfit is complete without cat hair. That pretty much sums it up. I do not own corduroy or velveteen or any of those other cat hair attracting clothes as I would never get out of the house without being covered with cat hair. No matter how many lint catching gadget you have, none of them will make you cat hair free so just go with the flow and don't wear those kinds of fabrics. As for sheets for the bed - if you have a cat that sleeps with you the sheets will be full of cat hair before morning, just ream out your belly button before taking a shower. Towels? Forget about it, just shake them real hard before you put them on the rod in the bathroom. Blankets? Ditto, the cat hair will make them extra snuggly heh heh. I sleep under a down comforter with a sheet underneath. My black sleek-haired Panthera sleeps under the sheet with me with me, I just vacuum the bed before I make it up for the day so at least for a little while until he joins me I have a bed , oh joy! without cat hair. Sometimes he doesn't make an appearance until towards morning, double joy!
Mine are the same.Have you noticed that white cats will always paw at the top layers of linen until they find something dark to lie on and black cats always have to lie on something white? They go for maximum impact when they're shedding all over your clean laundry.
