So we might be moving to the UK for my husband's work. I started to look into what I need to get the girls over there without needing to spend 6 months ?! in quarantine.
I know quite a bit from the site http://www.defra.gov.uk/wildlife-pet...res/owners.htm
Like they need to have a certain microchip then rabies shot (even though they are current) and the blood test to prove the rabies shot took effect. The results need to be dated at least 6 months before we move so I am starting this now so we don't need to scramble. Also they need paperwork from the USDA (I feel like they are like meat - grade A
)Plus a vet needs to treat them for ticks and tapeworms between 48 and 24 hours before we hand them over to an approved transport company on an authorised route.
Anyone know of a good company?
Thanks,
Faith
