Hi all,
I noticed earlier this evening that our 5MO kitten has a few marks on his skin whilst he was asleep and I was petting him. I've only owned cats for the last year or so. I was thinking it was you know the worst like cancerous or something. My partner is more in the mind that it's bite marks from our other cat as they have been playing alot.
I suspect he is just coming into adolescence, and I will have him done, however we won't be doing that *just* yet as he is still small and my female cat is neutered. They are both indoor so no risk of him fathering untold amounts of ferral kittens.
I've included a couple of images below. Am I worrying unduly?
Admittedly the pictures aren't great in real life the area is more white than pink. They are also a little bubbly like a keloid scar.
I want to take him to the vet, however I've agreed to post here to see if this is a minor "treat at home" thing first. He doesn't seem to be in pain and the area is on his back leg.
thanks in advance for any advice .
