Leftover ovaries is something I am contemplating happening to one of my cats (female). I know the odds are small, but I may be getting some bloodwork done on her to test for estrogen levels.
Anyone experience this before? Also is such a blood test worth it?
Say they did find through the blood test that her estrogen levels are abnormal and she might need another surgery to get rid of the leftover ovaries, who should be responsible for the cost of the surgery? I am in Canada.
Thanks.
