Popping Noise When Purring

We just brought in a stray kitten 2 days ago (we’re keeping him). We estimate that he’s about 2 months old. Every time he purrs it sounds like little bubbles popping. He sneezes a lot and sometimes snot comes out. I clean his nose with a moist paper towel after he sneezes. Not sure what it could be. Any ideas?

Sounds like it might be a respiratory infection. Has the little guy seen a vet?

Yes, please do take him for a vet visit. It definitely is a good idea when bringing a new kitten home, especially when you don't know where the kitten has been.
