It's a giant rafflesia flower - also known as a Carrion Flower. Interesting, but I've seen one and it didn't smell very good.

Yes...and huge too! I've seen a few different kinds at botanical shows. They are always amazing. But dear Lord...the smell. ARGH. Definitely not something for a bouquet. I'm a plant fanatic so I'm glad I've gotten to see a few.

They don't bloom very often.
