My niece send me this picture from Vermont
i like to look at pictures, but i dont like the real thing, when it snows deep here in the Jan. and Feb. months all i can do is think about the poor strays and wild life that is having it so hard with all this cold white stuff around them, i guess thats why i dont like winter......
I can do without snow very nicely, thanks. It's wonderful on mountains, in the country, on Christmas cards -- but not in the city, and ESPECIALLY not in a city, such as Vancouver, which doesn't get much experience dealing with it.
I grew up in Montreal, learned to drive there, learned to shovel out that car
only to have someone else swipe the space...etc. I don't miss it one iota. People grumble about the rain here in the winter, and all I can say is that you don't have to shovel it.
That doesn't stop me from enjoying snow pics though.
