Thank you all so much - I'm kind of a mess right now, and it helps to hear that I did the right thing. Now I need to focus on Pedro (Petey's brother) because he's wondering what's going on. I need to make sure he stays healthy and okay.

I am so sorry to hear this awful news. You and your vet certainly did all you could and made the right decision. On behalf of the Mod team I offer you our sincere condolences.
