My friend found a baby kitten outside her backyard, she's pretty sure something happened to the mother. She brought him over to give to us (we're going to try and get in with the vet tomorrow)
The kitten has TONS of burrs which I've been slowly working on getting out. He is very small, and very skinny. He drank a little bit of water for me, but not interested in food. He seems very weak, but my older cats get along with him. They were trying to get the burrs out too, very gently.
What should I do until I can get him to the vet? Should I have food, water and the litterbox all very close to his bed? I've seen him walk but it's never very far. Oh and this is his picture below: how old would you say he is? He can fit perfectly in two hands.
