Well, to follow-up on this.

Luna has recovered -- she had initially tested negative for everything, but has since healed after a few weeks isolated in the bathroom on sporanox and conofite.

Tiki, however, got much worse and the vet said she expected it might be allergies, mites, etc..., so she had a biopsy done. Tiki was cut in five places
-- the result? Ringworm.

We're kind of annoyed at the vet for suspecting ringworm with Luna, but not automatically putting the other cats on sporanox (or at least the Tiki after she had sores!). Tiki just had her stitches out today. So we're treating both Tiki and Luna with conofite, chlorhexiderm baths, and Intraconazole/sporanox. Luna looks fine but Tiki is a mess (flaking, hair loss, patches from her biopsy).

And, of course -- we're vacuuming and showering 12x per day.

*Sigh* -- hoping she gets better soon.

Hope they get better soon too, poor things.

Also I'd dump your vet and get a competent one.

What a lot to put a little cat through because they couldn't get the diagnosis right in the first place
The cats had been passing it back and forth between them.

Let us know how they progress. Hopefully, it'll all clear up soon.
