My kitten (male) is 4 months old and i don’t know whats wrong with him. he keeps gagging as if something is stuck in his troath and it sounds like his nose is stuffed, he can’t breathe sometimes when he sleeps and snores. Also his purring sounds diffrent than normally. What could be wrong with him?

There could actually be something stuck in his throat, like a piece of ribbon or string. Would you be able to take him to the emergency vet?

Well, it's really impossible to know. Snoring is not that unusual, but having a stuffy nose isn't too good. Cat's get "colds' like people do, and like us, the norm is to ride it out, as long as they continue to eat, drink, etc. As to the gagging, it's very possible something is stuck in there, because kittens tend to get into things they shouldn't. But on the other hand, it's possible it's a hairball :dunno:.

For the most part, is he acting normal? Eating, drinking, peeing, pooping, playing? Or is he spending most of his time trying to expel whatever appears to be stuck? If the latter, then you may need to take him to the Vet and have him checked out.

Oh, good. If he is eating, drinking, playing and using his box normally, all should be well. But we are here if you need us!
