Hello everybody~
Today is a holiday in my country (and tomorrow), thus all vet clinics are closed. My private vet won't answer her phone, so I honestly don't know what to do.
The emergency service is very far away and very expensive, and I don't know if getting him out for a four hours ride if advisable.
My cat Yeollie is a one year old and this is the first time I've ever seen him this sick.
Yesterday he started vomiting.
At first it seemed like the usual hairball coming up. Happened last month, as well. But then kept vomiting until we removed his food. I have to mention that yesterday his mood was still very good; he played around with his toys and wanted to get cuddles. When I woke up, he hadn't puked since, so I assumed he was feeling better and went to work. When I came home from work, I saw that he puked some more, this time the puke was yellow-ish and much more sticky. He sits at his usual spots, and seems very slow and apathetic. He didn't eat, not even once since yesterday, nor did he drink anything the entire day.
I decided to give him some water with a syringe.
I've read that I need to get some food inside of him, since it's been almost a day and a half since he ate, so I tried feeding him some baby formula (meaty baby formula, since I don't have anything else at the moment, in the house), but he resists, doesn't seem to want anything, not even his favourite dry food or wet food, and even refuses the water from the syringe.
What do I do?
Should I take him to the emergency?
