Dear all
My cat, Sushi, is currently almost 2 years old and experiencing blood in his stools.
I just moved into my new condo 2 weeks ago (June 21, 2010), and he is staying in a smaller room than before.
He is having grain free kibbles and cans due to sensitive digestive system. He used to have dierhea when he was a kitten so I had him on enzymes and probiotics for a few months (from Jan 2010-March 2010), and he stopped having any stool problems.
I had him living at my friends' place for 3 weeks in from June 1~20, 2010, and he was having blood in his stools from that time.
I stopped feeding him for a day or so after i moved into my new condo, and he is okay for a few days. However, i start seeing blood in his stools again.
I am wondering if the constant change of enviornment and my use of vaccum cleaner have lead to stress to cause the blood in his stool, or if there are any other reasons.
There are no changes in active level, apetite, or the amount of water he drinks.
I am attaching a picture of the stool and I am wondering if it is considered as "bright red" or "excessive amount of blood"
I am wondering if anyone have experienced the same thing or can give me any advice!
Thanks very much for your time and considerations,
Sincerely,
Cindy
