They will be 8 weeks old on Sunday. I can't beleive how fast they've grown. I still remember the day they were born like it was yesterday...

Yes, two of them. Its amazing that we have gone from a no pet family in May to a 7 cat family in August and soon, back down to a three cat family.

Awww...that's quite a few babies to be tending to!

I bet it's hard to figure out which is more of a handful...Madeliene, or the kittens! Very sweet.

Actually, my older daughter is the biggest handful as far as the kittens are concerned. She loves them so much and is very gentle, but is constantly carrying them around, putting them in toy stollers or her toy shopping cart. I know she's not hurting them, but I'm afraid that she's going to get scratched in the face or eyes one of these days. She proudly shows the scratches on her hands to anyone who will listen saying "Look what the kittens gave me!" like they're presents.

Madeleine and the kittens, on the other hand, pretty much keep to themselves. Unless I encourage her to interact with them specifically, she usually justs stands back and watches them play.
