Hi all,
This is my first thread so please excuse any mistake I make. Yesterday, my Pizza came home and went lying on the sofa. It was strange as she usually heads to the kitchen to eat. Upon inspection, I saw that she was drooling clear water a little. Since it was Sunday, there was no clinic open. Unfortunately, we don't have that kind of luxury here. So today, I had to wait for the clinic to open to bring her. This morning, she peed then drank some water slowly and peed again. She vomited a little, but it was just a tiny portion as she didn't eat the previous day.
The vet took a look at her and said Pizza had to be put on drip as she was badly dehydrated. She has a little fever. It could be either poisoned or she picked up something. We left her at the clinic and came back home. The vet said she will call us as soon as she is done with her. Let's hope Pizza will be fine.
Pizza was picked up by us when she was a little kitty around 2 1/5 years back. We went to the park after buying pizzas to eat there as it was a lovely night. She came running towards us like if she knew us. We gave her pizza and just felt sorry to leave this little kitty there at the park. We brought her back home and send her to the vet the next day to be put up for adoption. 1 1/5 years later, the vet called me and told me no one wanted to adopt Pizza and asked whether I wanted her. So, we've had her since then.
Sorry for boring you all. I just hope and pray Pizza would be fine. I don't want to loose another cat after loosing 2 last month.
take care all,
Nile
