I've had a Drinkwell and a Cat-It and I like the Cat-It better. Cupid rarely drinks water because his food contains enough for him, but I like the idea of him always having fresh water should he ever want a drink. I like the Cat-It because I like the way it looks, it's quieter, and it's easier to clean. It does take a lot of water, though; I put in about 6 normal-sized bottles a week when I clean it. That's solely from evaporation, too, because he rarely drinks it. The Drinkwell didn't evaporate as quickly.

I had the freshflow during the summer but the motor died. I always cleaned the bowl and motor everyweek but it still died. I find that sakura doesnt really care where her water comes from since we went back to the normal bowl. I wont be buying another fountain for a long time.
