People who don't 'like' cats

Hi, I found this forum because I did a search to find out why some people don't like cats. I have owned cats all my life and currently own three. They are such great companions and pets. The reason I was searching is because my daughter's boyfriend came over to meet us. I made him dinner and was so surprised that he kept making comment after comment when he would notice or cats do anything. He would say "that is why I dont like cats." Attachment one point he picked up my favorite cat and told her that he was dominant over her. I was flabbergasted. I don't know what to do.
