Penelope will be perfectly sweet, and then the moment she smells anyone who works there it is like a switch is flipped and she starts hissing, and will swat at and attack everyone. She has been tucking her tail again, and it has been for a little while. She still eats, drinks, pees, poos, and plays normal. The vet doesn't think it is necessary at this point to stress her out more by forcing an exam on her. But If she needs to be examined at the vet and she acts like that still, she will need to be sedated. I would like to avoid this if possible. Are there any tricks anyone has to keep her calm, or should I just sedate her. She was never this way when she was younger, I don't know what changed.
Side note: Both girls are the exact same weight at 6lbs even! I wondered if Delilah would even make it to 5lbs for a while, let alone catch up to Penelope.
