Hey everyone,
We really need some advice for Mew. He is a 9 year old siamese/himalayan mix and he's neutered. We change his litter every week, but this week we noticed something wrong. Last night we noticed a very strong smell from his litter box. This evening when my husband went to change the litter, the smell of pee was absolutely unbearable and the litter box was soaked in pee. My husband couldn't even breath and he was choking. We've never seen anything like this happen with Mew, so were really worried since we don't know what could be wrong. Normally Mew doesn't pee very crazy or anything like that, so it's very strange to see his litter box was soaked. We normally have no problems with the litter box and it's not too bad. He has been eating and drinking normally. His behavioral has been normal. but he has been crying a lot. I'm not sure if he is crying because something is bothering him or because he always has been a vocal and a attention seeking cat. We are thinking about taking Mew to the vet this Friday, but we would love to hear if anyone knows what can be wrong or if they had a similar situation.
