There's a PBS program on brain chemistry and one of the things the Dr. spoke about was cats! (He has one.) A dog's brain is apparently 7% prefrontal cortex and a cat has virtually no prefrontal cortex. The prefrontal cortex has to do with impulse control, learning from mistakes, and many other things. (I think he said the pfc is 30% of the human brain.)
I thought this would be a good thing to post for those posters who periodically show up here who take their cats behavior very personally and expect them to be other than a cat!!!!!
