The thing is the man could have told me this on the onset. With kitten season started, the first thing that crossed my mind was "oh his indoor/ outdoor probably got pregnant." I mean I have been asked by rescue volunteers at petsmart to adopt. From what I remember, this man started the conversation with "do you want a kitten?" I now retrospectively think that he said kitty and not kitten. Why would anyone have to pay to get a kitten adopted. So I laughed and told him i had my handful with 2 and asked if he had an excess of them (one, because I thought he said kitten and two, I was thinking about kitten season) and he replied yes. He could have then told me the situation. Rather he offered cash
