My cats absolutely LOVE this, and won't eat their formerly favorite 9 Lives anymore. They are especially crazy about the chicken and liver and beef and liver flavors. It appears that this is a pretty good quality. I don't see grain among the ingredients. Cost is $.50/can at my store.
The only problem is that it isn't carried in all grocery stores. It is only carried at Save Mart in my location (Fresno area) and Save Mart is a local chain. None of the other stores listed are in my area.
Has anyone else tried this?
The good news is that Dusty is much healthier than she has been in years. She was diagnosed with CRF about 4 yrs. ago. She went through a period a year ago when I thought she was about to die. She had lost so much weight that you could feel every bone in her body, and her fur was falling out.
I'm happy to report that she has rebounded. She has gained weight, and her fur is full again and is back to her healthy color of charcoal grey and white. When she was so sick it turned to almost a redish brown color. She is also more active now and it is apparent that she is feeling much better. I'm not saying that she is fully recovered from CRF, but she is definitely much better than she has been in 4 years. She is eating close to 2 cans of Paws a day, and it obviously agrees with her.
