Party!! Party!!!

I think a lot of us are in the middle of the mid-winter blahs, or for some of our members, the mid-summer blahs.

I think it's time for a virtual party!

I can bring taco dip and margaritas. Anyone else?

Can we have the party on a nice sunny beach? Maybe I can find the "clothing optional" one we visited in the first vacation thread.

I can bring watermelon since we are doing it on the beach! I will be sure to put it on ice so its nice and COLD!!!

I'll bring a nice, big, cold bottle of Chardonnay and my go-to-party recipe-- it's a family trademark- my mom, sister and I all make them for partys and people are always impressed.

I'll share the recipe with you now!

Brie Tartlets

You'll need:
A good wedge of brie
A package of mini phyllo tart shells (found in the freezer section- don't bother defrosting them)
A jar of mango chutney- sweet not spicy

Take the rind off of the brie, and put a little chunk of brie in each mini-tart shell. Top with a dollop of chutney (not too much of each or they'll bubble over) and then bake the tartlets in the oven or toaster oven til the cheese bubbles-- usually about 6 minutes or so at 350.

Watch your guests be amazed at your fancy appetizers!!
