Hi folks,
apologies on the nature of this post. I'm running a bit late here but I noticed I'm almost out of food for my cat. Unfortunately a cold front/snow blows in here starting tonight and, since I travel by bike, if I'm picking up food for the month I should do it today while I'm out.
So here's some quick information to see if you can help me make a decision:
My cat has been on raw for a little over a year. Primarily fed her K9s Feline Natural chicken and lamb freeze dried, but the new store doesn't carry this. For the past month I've fed her bison from Carnivora, which is really well priced and she loves bison/red meats. Carnivora has quite a bit of bone in it, however, since it's also blended for dogs.
I have to decide if I'm going to pick up another package of carnivora bison, or try another food. Whatever I get today is what she's stuck with for the month.
Should I play it safe and get more bison/elk? Carnivora also has other proteins that are cheaper, whereby I could potentially get more (ie duck, rabbit, chicken): http://www.carnivora.ca/html/featured_products/index.cfm
But they also have Primal available, which from what I understand is more popular down in the United States (we're up here in Canada). Any experience on that? Also a bit high on bone?
Thanks for any advice!
