I have returned with yet another question. LiLi has been vomiting again quite a lot and I decided to give Cerenia another try. The problem is she is extremely sensitive to the taste and foams at the mouth (which I think she has even aspirated once due to it, resulting in her last serious URI). I have already ordered pill capsules (Bovine Gelatin type) and I will coat with some kind of cat safe oil or something, but until it gets here are there any ideas for getting it down her throat before she manages to taste it? Also if you have a favorite pill pusher gun or anything I would much appreciate any advice.

*She is on my chair purring after throwing up for the second time today. An empty tummy makes her happy which is so sad...

My vommitting cat peaches end up having major teeth surgery. My vomitting Maggie has ibd confirmed by an ultrasound. I give my cat her pill by mouth. Cerenia does not help much with inflammation if that's what she has,

Another batch of her adult teeth just came in and neither vet has mentioned noticing anything so far. I'm trying to help keep the little nutrition she gets in her until we make it to the specialist to confirm IBD or what else. Already doing doses of slippery elm to, hopefully, help a bit with the inflammation though. As well as Visbiome for pre/probiotics. Ordered Adored Beast...like everything just to have if I need it. And she's exclusively eating RAWZ rabbit.

Pill pockets, which can be found in most local pet stores are an option to try. Pil masker is another. Lickable treats might work, but since they are 'liquid' you would probably have to crush the Cerenia into it. Some of the licakble treats do a fairly good job at masking the taste of many pills. The 'juice' from a can of tuna in water might be something else to consider, with a bite of tuna to follow.
You might also try hiding the pill in a freeze-dried treat?

I use tiki sticks or churu tubes to get pills in her
