Good news! An adoption application was put in for Billie within the first 2 hours she was at the clinic. Good girl Billie, I took her out of the cage to introduce her to the folks and when the woman held her hand out, she rested her head in her hand and started licking her fingers. The woman immediately melted.
Obviously the folks will go thru a reference check, but if that goes thru, she could be in her new home as early as Wednesday, and next Saturday at the latest.
My husband bet me that Billie would be the first to be adopted and I told him no way.
