Hi, I got my cat spayed 4 days ago and have been keeping her in an e-collar half of the time so she could have a break from it. While it was off and she wasn't in the room with me, she seems to have been licking or something because I don't think this looks normal. Am I wrong, or do you guys should I take her to the vet?

The top looks a little open, but keep an eye on it. If you notice it becomes an angry red or starts weeping, then get her back to the vet. Also, if she has any change in her eating, play, or litter box habits, that's cause for concern and she needs to go to the vet.

Hi. I would keep the cone on 24/7 for now. Keep her as quiet as you can. Also, if using clay cat litter, switch to paper litter or shredded paper until that heals. You don’t want the litter granules to get in there.
