I have a 7 month old kitten and we tend to do tiny road trips over to my boyfriends parents house. They have 2 cats there one is very friendly, he does hiss at Viva ( my kitten ) but he goes near her and does nothing to her. He's really a big baby I dont see him hurting her at all. The other cat though is beyond vicious sounding, we are so scared to let the kitten wonder around alone because the other cat pins her ears to the side , hisses, growls, even sounds like she is spitting.
We would like to be able to get them use to each other as we visit very often. I bring Viva along with me as she sleeps with me every night and I would not be comfortable with someone else watching her, she is my baby hehe.
Viva does not at all seemed stressed by this situation but I know that if we let them lose together the other cat would probaly really hurt Viva, so we need to get them use to each other.
Any ideas? I've run out and really need this problem fixed.
